Adams: Athletics is a vital part of college atmosphere

Cerro Coso Coyotes Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director Dick
Adams knows what it takes to build a successful athletic program. He
began the Coyote baseball program from scratch 11 years ago, and has
delivered the college its only two championships, with back-to-back
Foothill Conference championships in 1999 and 2000. Since that time, the
Coyotes have continued to be competitive, always in the thick of the
conference playoff race.
