Coyotes Rally Back but Fall Short to San JacintoThe Women's Basketball team dropped a 58-48 decision to #6 Mt. San Jacinto College on Saturday afternoon in San Jacinto. The Coyotes got off to a very slow start hitting only 2 of their first 22 shots and trailing by as many as 23 points before making a nice second half run to cut into the Eagles lead. The Eagles (16-4) were led by sophomore Katie Moreno with 15 points. The Coyotes Stephanie Hoskin played a great second half and ended up with a season high 28 points. LaTasha Trainer had a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. LaChelle James added 7 points. "San Jacinto is an extremely good team and we did a good job in the second half of not giving up and improving upon our first half performance", said Coach Tom Heck. The Coyotes 8-11 (3-6) next face Southern California's number one ranked team the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines on Wednesday night in San Bernardino. Tue Jan 25, 2011
