Baseball squad sets date for rain makeup
By Tim Allen, Staff Reporter, The Daily Independent
The Cerro Coso baseball team had its twin bill rained out Saturday at
the Bash at the Beach Tournament in Oxnard, but will make up both games
later in the year.
The Coyotes will travel to Sylmar Feb. 13 to make up their game with Los
Angeles Mission in a 2 p.m. start.
Cerro Coso's game with tourney host Oxnard will be made up before the
opener of the Mashing the Mojave tournament beginning at the college
April 3. The Coyotes and the Condors will hook up at Cerro Coso at 2
p.m. that day.
That game will slightly change the schedule for the locals tournament as
well. The Pasadena-Cerro Coso game April 3 will be moved to a 6 p.m.
start. The schedule for April 4 will see all games moved up two hours
with the following matchups: Oxnard-Pasadena, 10 a.m.; Pasadena-West
Hills, 2 p.m.; Oxnard-Cerro Coso, 6 p.m. The April 5 schedule will see
West Hills take on Pasadena at 10 a.m. and the Coyotes hosting West
Hills in the finale at 2 p.m.
