Cerro Coso conference doubleheader postponed

The Daily Independent

Due to poor weather conditions, Cerro Coso’s baseball doubleheader with Foothill Conference rival San Bernardino Valley was postponed until Tuesday.

Coso (8-12, 4-0 Foothill Conference) won its fourth consecutive game, and the first of the three-game series Thursday 17-6 over SBVC.

Aaron Keplinger gets the start in the first game Tuesday, with Kade McAllister taking the ball for game No. 2.

Coso is looking to complete its second sweep in as many conference series. Last week, the Coyotes took down Barstow in three games.

Cerro Coso has a busy week ahead, with another series kicking off Thursday at Antelope Valley.

AVC comes to Ridgecrest Saturday for a doubleheader.
