Cerro Coso ends season with loss to COD
The Cerro Coso women’s basketball team concluded its season on
Saturday, dropping a 54-49 decision to College of the Desert at the
McCue Center.

Christmas with five players, winless in the Foothill Conference.
“To play with only five players in the toughest conference in the state,
and live to tell about it, is just incredible,” said coach Tom Heck.
“I’ve been coaching on the college level for over 20 years, and it’s on
of the most amazing things I’ve ever been a part of; however, I wouldn’t
want to do it again.”
