Mid-summer tourney coming Friday

Cerro Coso College will be hosting its annual mid-summer high school
girls basketball tournament Friday and Saturday.
The two-day tournament will be played at Cerro Coso and Burroughs High
School.
The games will begin on Friday afternoon at the college and will
continue all day Saturday at both sites.
This year’s tournament include teams from Rosamond (varsity and junior
varsity), Littlerock High School, Antelope Valley, Lucerne Valley, Carl
Hayden (from Phoenix), Beatty High School (Beatty, Nev.), Arvin and
Barstow. They will join local teams from Trona and the Burroughs
freshmen.
Admission is free on Friday and $2 per person on Saturday for the entire
day.
Concessions will be open for both Friday and Saturday.
All proceeds go to help the Cerro Coso women’s basketball program.
