CCCC softball team can't get past Monarchs

The Cerro Coso women's softball team hosted the L.A. Valley College
Monarchs Tuesday afternoon at the Coyote Den. After a cancelled game
Saturday against Imperial Valley College, the Lady Coyotes were looking
forward to some home cooking against the Monarchs.
The excitement was short-lived, however, as the Monarchs routed the Lady
Coyotes 18-5 in five innings. Despite the loss, Coyotes Head Coach Mark
Lathrop found several reasons to be positive.
