Late-inning woes cost Lady Coyotes conference game

The Cerro Coso Lady Coyotes softball team hosted the Antelope Valley
College Marauders Wednesday afternoon at the Coyote Den, hoping to begin
the second half of Foothill Conference play with a win. The Marauders
defeated Cerro Coso 9-1 in the first conference game of the year, but
first-year Head Coach Mark Lathrop's team has shown drastic signs of
improvement since that game.
Antelope Valley has also improved, as the routed the Lady Coyotes 19-4
in a six-inning affair.
